Tofu Breakfast

The pretty Mel of Gourmet Fury and Leela of She Simmers have been internet hosting Beet ‘n Squash YOU! I all the time should have at least two meats on my shish kabobs. Usually chicken and beef however sometimes I go for porc souvlaki the surf style and have shrimp and fish. I also LOVE that these are made in the oven since I’m t-totally out of propane right now. Cut the tofu lengthwise into 1/2-inch (1-cm) broad slabs, then minimize every slab in half lengthwise. Cut every strip into 1/2-inch (1-cm) broad cubes. Remove sheet from oven, flip the tofu steaks, and bake for one more 10 minutes, or till golden brown and the crispy. In a small bowl, whisk collectively 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp water. Poke the tofu steaks throughout with a fork. Add them to the soy marinade. Drizzle the peanut sauce over the tofu and sprinkle with peanuts. Once the tofu is prepared, slice it into four slices and marinade it with the Cajun spice by mixing the Cajun spice and olive oil in a bowl collectively. In a large non-stick skillet over excessive heat, brown the tofu slices on one side in 2 tbsp of the oil, about 5 minutes. Season frivolously with salt. Flip the slices over and porc Souvlaki sprinkle with the steak spice. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk collectively the peanut butter, hoisin sauce, three tbsp scorching tap water and as a lot chili-garlic sauce as you like.
